MOLDWEL VACANCY: Quality Inspector and Performance Analysist

We have a current vacancy for an experienced and hardworking Quality Inspector and Performance Analysist to compliment and assist our current workforce.

We are a small but very busy trade moulder – Plastic Injection Moulding. We have 15 moulding machines ranging from 35 Tonne to 328 Tonne, the majority of machines are Wittman Battenfeld with 3 new Chen Hsong machines. We process all materials including PP, UF6, 30%GF6, PC, POM, HD and ABS

We are looking for a candidate that has experience of working in a manufacturing environment, working in a Plastic Injection Moulding Company would be advantageous but not essential. As well as being responsible for Parts Inspection, the role will also encompass:

A – First Off – Last Off Inspection

B – Products / Process Audits

C – Scrap Analysis and Reduction

D – Production Performance Monitoring and Improvement

E – Operator Performance Analysis

After undertaking on-site training and company familiarisation, the position will entail 37.5 hours per week between the hours of 8.00am and 5.00pm. We are seeking a highly motivated, innovative person who can work under their own initiative and develop and implement new systems and procedures.

MOLDWEL VACANCY – experienced and hardworking setter – technician

We have a current vacancy for an experienced and hardworking setter – technician to compliment and assist our current workforce.

We are a small but very busy trade moulder. We have 15 moulding machines ranging from 35 Tonne to 328 Tonne, the majority of machines are Wittman Battenfeld with 3 new Chen Hsong machines. We process all materials including PP, UF6, 30%GF6, PC, POM, HD and ABS

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years hands on experience of working in a busy trade moulding factory, will have good knowledge of tooling and tooling repairs, be able to work under his / her own supervision, be able to troubleshoot and eliminate issues, be of good health and be physically fit, have experience of machine and ancillary maintenance and be able to drive a Fork Lift Truck ( current licence not required – training will be provided )

After undertaking on-site training and company familiarisation, the position will entail 37.5 hours per week between the hours of 6.00am and 5.00pm. The successful candidate will be responsible for production start up each morning, ensuring the factory and moulding machines are up and running quickly and efficiently, quality checks as per the company quality procedure and up to two tool changes per day.
